Born in Zimbabwe in 1957 and living in Bitain for over twenty years, Peter has been able to appreciate the best of two vastly different lifestyles. The energy and vitality in his work is a consequence of his fresh approach to different cultures. As a dedicated plein-air artist committed to his chosen subject, Peter is able to express his particular passion for light and atmosphere. He enjoys travelling throughout Europe to the most dynamic towns and cities capturing their essence through his distinctive style. Many of his current paintings feature the rich cultural life of Venice and Tuscany.
